Okay so this is my first post, and it's probably long overdue. Welcome to totally everything. I may update frequently, and I may not.
I recently snatched the new Sunset album, Gold Dissolves to Gray, which leaked over the weekend. I first got into Sunset when Bill Baird was still releasing his stuff under the {{{SUNSET}}} moniker, and though I don't think this new release is as good as Bright Blue Dream or Pink Clouds, or even the Loveshines II 7", it's pretty damn good. Baird has this way of fusing analog electronics with folk songs in the vein of Woody Guthrie's Americana in an almost shoegazey reverb pop style. If modern pop/country sounded like this, I think America might just make it. If you like this I highly recommend checking out Loveshines II.
To download Gold Dissolves to Gray click on the album art below. Btw if you're into bitrates/formats sorry it's in AAC, there aren't other formats available yet.

So um... did you forget about this?
ReplyDeleteRequest for the next up: some Talking Heads. I only have Remain in Light and 77... they are both probably my favorite albums of all time. Just brilliant. I'm sure you have others?
